Ah, the lone flower. It was a lonely flower within the row of plants alongside the park. We were assaulted by rays of light, signalling that the day is nearing its end. The lone flower stood, a testament of the hours that passed by, and was assailed by the uncertainty of tomorrow--the future beyond.
Or should I say so. The flower stood still, even though the darkness will envelop the world in less than an hour--resilient, and magnificent at the same time. The sun in the background released its final rays before it became one with the horizon.
Could the lone flower be proof that there might still remain something beautiful, like an oasis in the middle of the desert, would emerge, like a last man standing, even if the world becomes desolate? We will never know.
I have decided to create a new series (which I would probably continue after a long time) regarding my thoughts about the sunsets that I randomly shot.
