Memory Lane!

Watching the sunset as its slowly sets and wishing that, wish I was that kid, just simply being a kid. How I wish I could turn back the hands of time, the time where.....there were no smartphones, no computers, no internet, just a life of simplicity, life of simple living where you could enjoy the simple little things but yet memorable....just having a free spirit.

When you go outside at night looking up at the stars, watching and catching fireflies, making bonfire and telling horror stories, doing shadow theater with your friends, seeing older boys singing and playing guitars, while others are serenading to the ones that they love, while girls are in the "pakipot"(a woman playing hard to get) effect, your mother is listening to old songs on the radio and thinking of all the memories from those days, and lastly your father is having some talks with his friends, relatives outside about the schedule of the "bayanihan" (the spirit of communal cooperation). This are the things that I miss.

This is the life before technology steps in, just going with the flow of life without worrying anything, just being who you are, without the feeling of being in race of time or being in competition with anyone.
