What A Place / Barcelona Spain

It had gone so fast and I had had the most amazing time and experiences but my two months in France had come to an end. While I was sad to leave all my family and friends behind I was equally excited to embark on another amazing adventure.

So that is exactly what I did and after a short flight I had met up with two good friends in Barcelona.
We were to spent three full days in Barcelona, how ever we were actually staying just out of the city in a near by town called Castelldefels. The main reason for this was to avoid the high accommodation price in central Barcelona and the other reason being we would be right near the wakepark which was one of the activities we had planned on doing while we were there.

Our first day was spent exploring the central Barcelona city which took use from the Barcelona Sants train station where we walked a short distance towards Placa De Les Cascades, this place is a great site seeing area as it sits high in relation to the rest of the city. Here you will find the Font Magica De Montjuic which is an amzing water fountain at the base of Museu Nacional ( First Picture ) We didnt actually go into the Museum as the weather was so nice outside but as I mentioned before this is a great spot for pictures.

As the evening drew closer we made our way towards the water to have a swim and catch an amazing sunset and it definaitly delivered. We loved the evening atmosphere at La Estrella Herida and spent the next few hour laying in the last of the sun having a few beers, swimming and taking pictures. You may even want to treat yourself with a cold mojito from one of the local salesman, but make sure you agree on a fair price... they are very open to suggestions.

If you stay long enough you may just be treated with views like this.

This following day was not in our favour weather wise and we where surprised to see this sunny Barcelona overwhelemed with torrential rain and thunderstorms. We didnt let this stop us though as you will know if you have travelled before, every day counts. After walking around aimlessly for several hours in the rain following the very helpful google maps we found the Wake Park we had planned to visit. This place completely exceeded our expectations with a balmy 24 degree celcious water temperature and very welcoming staff. I highly recommend this place if you are into wakeboarding. The rain was short lived and the following day the true sunny Barcelona was back in all its glory so we spent our last two days at the beach and chasing those amazing sunsets we love to shoot.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

This following day was not in our favour weather wise and we where suprised to see this sunny Barcelona overwhelemed with torrential rain and thunderstorms.
It should be surprised instead of suprised.
