    I find the fact that the USA or any other country would be respected because they have the best killing capacity to be a sad reflection of the world in general.

      But I am not too comfortable with your opinion that the US would ve respected not because of positive impact on other nations , but becuse pf their capacity to be MALEVOLENT to others.

        Well I think there are some countries out there that respect the USA because of goodwill and charity. The United States does a lot of charity contributions around the world. At the same time though, many countries have been subjected to military occupation by US bases worldwide and I find it very hypocritical that if any country were to install a military base close to the United States the US government would have a BIG problem with this but yet the USA does it all over the world.

        I am American but I would really like to see us stop being the defacto police of the world. We've proven over the past 10 years that we can't afford it as well.

          The United States does a lot of charity contributions around the world. At the same time though, many countries have been subjected to military occupation by US bases worldwide and I find it very hypocritical that if any country were to install a military base close to the United States the US government would have a BIG problem with this but yet the USA does it all over the world.

          My take:: Stability and SUSTAINANCE of any substance or phenomenon is a compound of equal , but OPPOSITE forces , which men dubbed "Evil"

          This is why any MOVEMENT without FRICTION is heading to anihilation.

          This is why , my Gramd dad said: there is Good in every Evil and vise versa .
