After a long lay off from the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross series due to injury he has announced that he will be lining up this weekend in Seattle.

A nasty practice session crash with another rider left the CycleTrader/Rock River Yamaha rider with a ruptured patella tendon in his knee and a dislocation in his right wrist... pretty nasty which ever way you look at it. This has meant over a month off the bike in a bid to heal up and get back to racing.

Rey has spent the last week or so hitting the practice tracks in Southern California in a bid to get back to the competitive racing and it's great to see he still has the drive to complete the season. He has five rounds of the Monster Energy Supercross series left to race and currently sits in twenty fifth which is not where he would want to be. His season best finish this year is sixteenth and I'm sure he will want to replicate that in his series standings come the end of the season.
