Hi Steemers,

So with the upcoming FIM MXGP World Championship warming up so too are the teams ramping up their preparations for the season. However, the series has been dealt a major blow as news has surfaced that Jeffrey Herlings, the current MXGP Champion, has suffered a foot injury from a crash in practice. He has undergone corrective surgery already so the team are making sure their prized rider is getting the best treatment and no delays.

"The #MXGP world champion Jeffrey Herlings had an operation on his right foot in Belgium last night after a training crash in Spain yesterday afternoon. All went well for #84 and more details about his recovery and rehab will be posted at the beginning of the week. Get fit fast champ."

News on how severe the injury is and how long he will be out of action for are understandably thin on the ground, i will as always update you guys as i find out more.
