Hi Steemers,
So in a week starting with all the bad news let's change that tactic and give some good news on the injury front. 2018 and double Champion Zach Osborne has confirmed that he collarbone injury has been corrected and that he is back in training ready to contest the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross Series.
Now, just take in that this plate should be straight... Not bent and that shows what he has been dealing with since the accident. Fair play and i can't wait to see how he comes back from this. Riders don't take it laying down, so i think there is some serious fire in his belly for this :0

"My surgery was a success and this is the plate that came out and was replaced with a new one. Obviously it’s supposed to be straight-ish to follow a normal collarbone. I feel much better and am back to training today. Absolutely bummed to miss supercrosslive tonight but I’m headed in the right direction and I’ll be back ASAP!"

What these guys do to keep racing.... One has to wonder how much pleasure and excitement they get out of the experience. It surely isn't about the money!
I know as a young boy, I would not be deterred from riding. Hours after leaving the hospital after an accident, I was ready to get back on! It wasn't until I was in my 40's did I start considering the long term effects versus the joy of riding.
