I followed the link from: Third Update to July 14th Security Announcement - Account Recovery Begins. I get the error message when I click the submit button after typing in my username and password: This password was not used on this account in the last 30 days.
My owner keys are still missing. There is no login button next to my owner account in the permission settings. I'm new to steemit, and I've only had my account for maybe a week at the time of this writing. I use strong passwords. Why can't I log into my owner account? Why does the Account Recovery page not work when I type in my password?
Edit: I used my account/active password, and it let me recover my account. I got this message:
Now when I try to log into my owner account I get this:
Which is much better than wrong password. I do not know what it means. I'm hoping once the two-factor authentication is done I can use my credentials to log into my owner account.
