Funny story: I think your list is very good. Thought I would visit each for a quick check and ended spending a lot of time on each blog, voted and followed in a way I have never done to @yoo1900 posts. :)
Found potential co-nationals and found a post about my favourite place in my own country, found someone looking for more good places to visit and recommended my traveling steemit friend, which has huge amounts of information on her own blog, found another co-national born in the US which I was already following but didn't know she had Romanian ancestry. Long story short you started a travel which took me a full hour to complete :D

Congrats to the winners. When I first saw this on the trending page a few days ago I thought it was a one time thing, but your daily generosity of giving back to the community and to deserving & and struggling steemians is a selfless and great initiative. I hope that a few other whales join you on your movement for the growth of the platform, when we all grow healthy, so does the platform. With issues in retaining newer users the platform has seen, could be detrimental to the future of steemit, now those with low earnings can have hope that they are being noticed.

WOW, I wonder if I would qualify? I bring music to the platform mostly, played live to the camera. I have been a pro musician of 40 years and am building my audience here. I have found very nice altruistic people here and you seem to be another great example. Nice to meet you and @markaustin is my example. Okay this is it. You don't need to beg for votes or share links. This is how he decides. The guideline is simple and straight to the point. To be a contender for the daily upvote,

your reputation has to be below 60. Okay, you've met that criteria so let's get along with it and fast.
You must post quality content.
What is quality content? Quality content is one which adds value to a reader. In otherwords, a reader derives value by spending his time to read the post.

Your post must not be plagiarized. @steemcleaners and @cheetah will get it down even before @yoo1900 notices it.
Any pictures used must be properly cited to the sources.
Your post must be atleast 100 words. If it is a meme, it must be followed by a detailed explanationof the words used and how the meme was created.

Keep doing this and even if you are not visited for the first few days, keep being consistently good and original and rejoicing with those rewarded.
Remember, to be successful you have to rejoice with others for their successes.

If you do all these, you will be shown a great deal of support by @yoo1900 and I have three words to explain how you will feel that day:

"Too much joy"

We are working towards being a community which creates value, one full of users who give out nothing but quality. Anybody can just upload any meme, even one created by another person and that it why a meme alone is a low quality content. When you write about the meme, you show that you are in to create quality, you show that you are a hardworker. A good post should be one that costs the author atleast some effort to create it. So when you are being supported, it is your effort that is being thumped up. But when you upload a meme that you probably got from google. What will be thumped up? I hope you understand.

I write fiction too sometimes. You know one secret? Instead of concentrating on being noticed, just concentate on writing good content and impressing yourself first. See how you can contribute to the community. Let the rewards come as secondary incentives. Try this and you will never get enough of the ever-satisfying feeling.

OK...OK, I may have dropped 2 unrelated phrases in to the blender and created a monster...

BUT the point still remains, if our amazing, vibrant, exciting and creative platform and AWESOME community is to ever hit the point of "critical mass" and hit Captain Zuckerburg where he deserves to be hit then your strategy is exactly the one that we all need to adopt as we hurtle ever onward like a juggernaut full of decentralization and memes.

It is a strategy that promotes helping others to grow and be heard, and in the early days of each new member arriving at our lovely little island is one of "helping the little guy".

Some of us don't even arrive as minnows, some of us start life here as plankton, before we "power up" to minnow status but as we learn, navigate the platform and recognise the enormity of what is being achieved here we will grow FAST and all in good time we too will achieve "whale like" status.

This is exactly the reason that I say we must all formulate a plan to give a hand up to the next batch of reinforcements then the next and so on.

There is an incredibly simple ethos at play here folks...Determine to follow in the steps and actions of what @yoo1900 has done and...

Pay it forward...

You just never know who the next whale will be and he may just help you at some future date when you are least expecting it.
