On a recent surf trip around the beautiful island of Sri Lanka my brother and I stumbled across an amazing left-hand coral point break. We were surfing this spot for days with no one out. I assume this spot had only been surfed by a handful of people as many locals stopped and watched us surf. A lot of them were shocked that we could stay on our boards whilst surfing so close to the coral.
When we first found this spot it was 6-8ft and peeling for hundreds of metres down the point, unfortunately we surfed it until dark so didn't get a chance to get any decent footage. but here are a few photos from a smaller but still super fun day.
I felt truly blessed to stumble across a wave of this calibre and I'm sure it wont be the last time i'll surf it....
beautiful shots!
