Getting into Dominical
To get into Costa Rica, you can take a plane to San Jose, ride a bus or rental car to San Isidro and then head west to Dominical which takes about 4 – 6 hours. You can also decide to fly in through Quepos which is just one hour drive for Dominical, but the best route is from Palmar Sur which has the best road and is only 45 minutes’ drive to Dominical.

Things to do in Dominical
There are a lot of things to do whenever you go to domical as the location of the city on the map makes it unique, and there are a lot of beaches to go to and also great landscape to look out for. Some of the things that you can do In Dominical includes;

Surfing and swimming
With a number of beaches that are around this beautiful city, this is one activity that you can’t miss out on. And although there are precautions that come with swimming and surfing in Dominical, it can still be pretty enjoyable if correctly done. So it is best to ask a professional or long time surfer for the best place to surf or swim when you get to the beach.

Whale watching
Dominical has been categorized as one of the only two places where you get to see the whales from the northern and southern hemisphere. These whales can be seen nine months in a year, and they consist of about 6-7 species in total.
