Today being the First day of May, 2018 is an inspiration for gratitude to me. I hope after reading through this post, I will be able to convince you to show gratitude to the following persons:
God
Your Parents
Your Helpers
Your Critics
Your Teachers
Your Friends
Your Challenges
God is the essence of your being. He gave and still gives gives you life free of charge. He deserves your gratitude.
Your Parents are God's stewards. They agreed to bring you this earth. Without their combination, you wouldn't be you. They deserve your gratitude.
Your Helpers have been kept for you all the step of the way. Some were strangers, some were acquaintances and friends. You need them. their work were as little as showing you direction to a street or location or recommending you for a blessing. They deserve your gratitude.
Your Critics are those who spurred you to greatness. You always dared the impossible so you can show to them you have something to offer. They are motivators in disguise. They deserve your gratitude.
Your Teachers are great beings. Their kind is out of this world. They knew something and didn't mind sharing with you. Your teachers didn't hoard knowledge that is why you know what you know. Their roles were played formally and informally. They deserve your gratitude.
Your friends always gave you their shoulders that you may lean on. They never left you in your trying times. Your friends always cheered you to stardom even when you did the worst. Your friends are the best motivation you ever had. They deserve your gratitude.
Your Challenges came to make you strong. Without them, you will be feeble. Your challenges grew stamina, endurance, patience and creativity in you. T=Yo grew because you confronted your challenges and stood tall in them. They deserve your gratitude.
In all, God is the major factor. He gave you parents, provided helpers, helped you see a way to shut your critics and gave you good teachers and friends. God didn't allow you to get lost in your challenges, rather, made a way of escape in them. He is all in all and He deserves your gratitude'
Please take out your time to appreciate God, your parents, critics, teachers, friends, and challenges. Above all, make every effort to give back to humanity. You may be in pains, yet, the strength to bear the pains is enough reason for your gratitude. Let your tears not becloud your eyes.
Remember:
Some slept like you did last night but are not awake today.
Some woke up you have their houses bugled by thieves but it didn't happen to you.
Some hoped they could read this post like you're doing but they can't.
Be grateful.
