Here is my entry for the #surrealart contest hosted by @sethlinson.
I love the ideal of surrealism. I already, in most of my art, have a bit of whimsy and sometimes the absurd. For this challenge, however, I wanted to go full tilt surreal, i.e. the unlikely.
Here is a closer look of the figure and bit of the whale to show brushwork/lines.
I also really wanted to include a whale in the piece as we know we are always curious about the workings of whales in the crypto world.
I also wanted a dreamy quality which I tried to express through brushstroke and line work.

Thank you, and I wanted a bit of water in it as if you could wonder, is the umbrella boat sinking? Did the whale fly in to save her? Etc, but surreal art is so open for interpretation that's what I really love.
