Just five years ago citizens around the world and more specifically the people of America had no idea about mass surveillance programs that were being run by the intelligence community. While some journalists and researchers claimed it was possible, they were labeled 'conspiracy theorists'.
During May 2013 a Booz Allen Hamilton system analyst left Hawaii and traveled to Hong Kong in order to release classified documents about an NSA mass surveillance program that spies on America among other countries. He then moved to Moscow and still remains there Today.
Just last week WikiLeaks leaked documents named 'Vault 7', which confirmed that the Central Intelligence Agency had the hacking capabilities to breach security of 85% of smartphones, and specifically Android, iOS and Windows. The leak also explained how the CIA can utilize Smart TVs via their microphones and cameras to watch and listen in on people.
When Donald Trump was first elected as president many people did not know what his policies were, apart from of course his views on Mexican immigration and his stance of Radical Islam. A report released yesterday has claimed that Trump has given the CIA authorization to use drone strikes without needing permission from the White House.
