'Uncertainty' Insurance before investing in Silver, Gold or Cryptos

From time to time I get asked the question of what to invest in. My follow up question is usually why are you investing? If their reply is because of uncertainty with economy, government, wars, etc then I usually go into the speel of what investments are more important then crypto, silver or gold.

1. Water

Water is the most over looked asset people take for granted. It is the life of our world and without it our planet dies. How much do you need? Ideally you should have an infinite source of water (well, spring, river) but having a large holding tank (1000/gal+) is a start. Regardless of your direction each family member in your household needs a minimum of 2 gallons of water per DAY. (This includes purification)

2. Food

Food is the hardest thing to stockpile due to it's shelf life. Sure you can buy cans of food but they also will expire at some point. Having a fresh source of food via a garden or access to barter with someone that owns a garden is ideal. My rule of thumb is 6 months to a years worth of canned food for each person in your household. This number will vary greatly depending on the house hold. Don't fall for the manufacturer directions of 1500 calories per day on those store bought survival caches. Remember a person will need 3000-6000 calories a day depending on how active they are.

3. Supplies

This is EVERYTHING else you are going to need. Between medicine, soap, alcohol, containers, toilet paper, etc. This list is exhaustive and the takeaway is these are things that you NEED in order to survive. (Neh on the stockpile of replacement filters for the espresso machine). From there you can always add luxury items.

4. Protection

Even as a person that is spiritual and loves to meditate a gun is a great tool to own. How do you secure game and protect your wife and kids? With a gun. How many bullets do you need and what caliber should you choose? I recommend buying 1000 rounds (minimum) with what is common (9mm, 12 gauge). Don't forget the gun.

5. 10 Cs to Survivability by Dave Canterbury
YouTube

Dave was on the TV show Dual Survival. It was a great show and after the stopped filming Canterbury created a YouTube channel and posted all sorts of bushcraft survival tips. He coined the term 10Cs of survival which is now a household term used in the 'survival' industry. I can't get into the nitty gritty on this post because it is also exhaustive. If I receive enough feedback on this post I will put together my list of items I would choose in my go bag. Learn the 10 Cs and how they are used after all you may have to use them some day.

All the profits in the world may not buy you that glass of water or can of food. Uncertain times call for unorthodox methods. Don't leave a huge hole in your contingency plan. Now on to massive profits!!

May you have abundance in all of 2018!!
