Tac Bar Survival Rations Review Part 2

in survival •  7 years ago

Here is part 2 of my review of the Tac-Bars from Expedition Research, in this video I tested these out on an empty stomach (no eating for 24 hours) and here are my results…

Even though I was still hungry, I didn’t feel mentally or physically diminished, but it’s not about being full…it’s about survival calories. The average person eats far more than 2500 calories per day, me included.

These are good enough that I was basically snacking on it all day, and could have eaten the whole thing by noon. I had to pace myself to have some left at dinner time.

Didn’t make me thirsty, although water would have been nice.

The family liked them (like cookies) but not sure how much they would all day, or for a few days. However, this is not for family meals, these are emergency survival calories, and if we had nothing else they would do the job.

These are individually packed, so you can try one without destroying the entire packages shelf life.

These would be great for camping or going out on a hike because a few people can just take 1 packet, not the entire box.

Contest: As I said in the video we are running a contest for podcast listeners and YouTube subscribers.
