DIY - Copper Coil Alcohol Burner Stove

Super simply design and cheap to build. Perfect for Backpacking, camping or SHTF scenario.

Items you need for building:

  1. little jar.
  2. copper tubing.
  3. JB weld or another kind of sealer.
  4. little bit of cloth for a wick.
  5. Household tools like a drill, pliers, etc.

You probably have to buy the copper tubing and JB weld but the rest you might have laying around or can get for free by asking a friend or relative.

Runs on any type of alcohol but by far the cheapest way would be to buy a 12oz bottle of rubbing alcohol at walmart for around $1.

tim taylor the thing about those stoves is that they are not just burning alcohol, they are heating up the alcohol and burning the vapor and so are more efficient. That is why that type of alcohol stove needs to be primed,
