Whatever it takes... My survival story

I used to love skiing to the eastern end of Hervantajärvi and back when I lived in Hervanta. I used to live on Mestarinkatu and the Suolijärvi trail would start a five-minute walking distance away from our home.

By the way, Suolijärvi would be a great place to take photos as, particularly in the autumn.

In my opinion Hervanta is an underestimated place. It has so many advantages!

Another great place in Hervanta used to be the cafeteria/pizzeria in the water tower. It used to be owned and run by a Moroccan in sixties. He is really nice guy and after he quit the tower has been closed to the public. There was a sign on the door where it read that the city would no longer rent the place to a cafeteria because of the poor condition the tower is in. I used to go to the tower cafeteria a lot when I lived in Hervanta and after that in Annala. Even after moving to the Lahti region, I'd go there during our visits there.

Damn, I've never been there :/
