The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a range of mid-size SUVs produced by the American manufacturer Jeep. At its introduction, while most SUVs were still manufactured with body-on-frame construction, the Grand Cherokee has used a unibody chassis from the start.
This is the fourth generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee. The fourth-generation WK2 Grand Cherokee went on sale in summer 2010 as a 2011 model. Like previous generations, the WK2 Grand Cherokee chassis is a steel unibody. Unlike previous generations, it features four-wheel independent suspension for better on-road handling.
Engine choices include the all-new 3.6 L Pentastar V6 and 5.7 L Hemi V8.
