Greetings ICONists,

No doubt this has been very active and amazing week for all ICONists, including P-Reps. Dated 25th AUG, ICON Foundation announced the start of Pre-Voting (Ref: https://medium.com/helloiconworld/pre-voting-is-here-6fa804a12559).

P-Reps got updated software sooner than expected and that was great thing. So most P-Reps rushed on 26th to register as a P-Rep with “Registration Fee: 2,000 ICX” as soon as possible.

These were the major highlights from swedencornet (ICON Sweden | EOSIO) during this week starting 26th AUG 2019.

Registered ICON Sweden as P-Rep

On 26th early morning about 06:00 (Swedish Standard time) we got awake-up and directly went to system to check any news or green signal for P-Rep Registration. And I was surprised to see that the race had already begin…. So we quickly managed to register after some minor issues. I think we were at nr. 10 -13 somewhere when we managed to register for P-Rep. Definitely 06:00 early morning was not appropriate time for EU. But, YES, we managed it well… slept only 3–4 hours that night…

Collaboration/Telegram — ICONists Voting

After P-Rep registration the next big thing was to ensure that we get the message out to ICONists and to guide them. We spent lot lot lot of hours in variety of telegram channels to answer the ICONists questions. Telegram took lot of time.

Successfully deployed Mainnet Citizen Node

ICON Sweden was also one of the few 1st teams who secured/acquired the platform/system to successfully deploy the Mainnet Citizen Node. So we got our lights switched on pretty early.
