Sweet Forevermore
And she ran
She stole through the night like she was a bat out of hell
Her ambitions and desires had been set on fire by the fuel that he spewed from that filthy mouth of his
She could feel the wind as it whipped through her
Hearing the sound in her ear as if she were holding a sea shell against it
Her skin tingled and longed for the feel of his fingers caressing her
Those strong hands enveloping her
The wholeness
A feeling of complete that only came from him
This daring stranger in the night
The phone dangled in the phone booth and a sound of disconnect echoed through the empty space
The thunderous pounding of her heart played on his mind
He could taste her sweet kisses and feel her in every part of his being
Love making after love making
The satisfaction
The risk
The lightning and the rain pounding down
Then finally he saw her
Drenched to the bone in a baby pink dress and bare feet
Her nakedness underneath made his bulge become even harder
Her nipples ached for the flicking of his tongue
Her lips ached for the taste of him
Her body ached for every inch he had to offer
And through the night they created a paradise
A paradise in the rain
A midnight and a sight and sound to behold
The deer and the other woodland creatures could only stare in awe
For this was a human condition that needed to be quenched
Even their little animal minds understood the need and yearning
And when the sunlight kissed the sky
And the rain droplets were absorbed back into the clouds
The pair slept into the heat of the afternoon
For there the decision was made that she would wed him and they would live off of the land forever
Playing games like children
Reading books in trees
Swimming in streams
And making the most of all their dreams
In the sweet forevermore
