A 99 year old swimmer, George Coronis, has made a new world record for swimming in 50-meter freestyle swimming in his age group.
In a government tournament in Queensland, George Coronis swept 50 meters in the 100-104-year-old age group, only 56.12 seconds.
The previous world record was 35 seconds more than its time. In 2014, British swimmer John Harrison made a record of 1 minute 31.19 seconds.
In April this year, 100 million will be full of Mr. Coronation. He is very happy to record the world.
He said that his speed and technique are the reasons for his success.
Mr. Brisbane Coronés was interested in swimming in the early hours - but when he started World War II, he left the swim.
But at the age of 80, he started swimming again.
The International Swimming Federation will now conduct experiments to formalize it.
