Is it cisgender female athletes can't compete against her? Cisgender female athletes like Katie Ledecky hold the records still. More importantly she is not getting first in every race she's in post-transition.
Is it she's got an unnatural advantage due to her birth sex? She's transitioned and on HRT. The HRT impacts her performance. Given that cisgender female athletes are still competitive with her, I'm not sure why it matters what her relative performance was playing against cisgender men versus cisgender women. She's not taking the HRT for the hell of it. I'm not even sure there is a fairness argument to be had.
More to the point, why would having her compete against cisgender men be an improvement? She doesn't identify as a man, so it would be alienating and dehumanizing. Her relative performance post-transition is more in line with cisgender women anyways.
On the broader issue, transgender and intersex athletes are relatively rare, and athletic competition is already inherently built on biological endowments that give competitive advantages.
We should see both transgender and intersex athletes as just other elements of that spectrum of biological endowments.
Forcing them to stop their therapy or take medication or alter themselves makes as much sense as doing that to cisgender athletes with medical conditions. Given they are relatively rare in sports, it seems straightforward to be accommodating to them.
Create a trans only division. There is nothing dehumanizing about giving them their own category. Male to Female Trans people have more muscle mass and different bone structure that make them have an unfair advantage in athletic competitions when competing with girls that never went through male puberty. Also, women's hearts are about 2/3 the size of a man's heart, and biological female's have 10-12% smaller lungs on average. This translates into a much greater ability to utilize oxygen. Also, there are studies that show that muscle tissue is permanently altered by male hormones, even if they become chemically castrated at a later point, and even if they go on HRT, there are permanant changes.. And we havent even accounted for the difference in male brain structure as compared to females. Men are biologically designed, through hundreds of millions of years of evolution to be the sex that does heavier lifting and participates in more aggressive activities that require a certain structural design. Coming from a person that has deep respect for athletics as well as science, I have to say you aren't looking at the situation from a balanced, rigorous perspective. Your compassion has been hijacked with political jackfoolery. This is the same reason why steroids are banned from olympic sports, because they create an unfair advantage. Male to Female Trans people have an unfair advantage. This is fact.
