Hey guys, while I was traveling around in Switzerland I was visiting Zürich, too. If you have the chance to visit the city then you have to hike on the mountain "Züriberg". I would say it is more a hill than a mountain. If you are going by feet then you need to know that you have to hike round about two hours to reach the top. By train it takes just 15 - 20 minutes! The view is marvelous and if it is not going to be foggy then you are able to see Zürich - City from above!
I would say: "Follow Me On My Way to the Top" :) Lets go!!

Hallo! Mein Aufenthalt in der Schweiz verleitete mich dazu den Züriberg in Zürich zu besuchen. Solltet ihr die Möglichkeit haben Zürich zu besichtigen ist der Züriberg mein Tipp! Meiner Meinung ist er nur ein riesiger Hügel, jedoch wird er tatsächlich Berg genannt. Zu Fuss erreicht man sein Ziel in 2 Stunden, mit dem Zug ist man schon in 15 bis 20 Minuten ganz oben. Zu Fuss bin ich lieber unterwegs, da ich die Gegend viel Bewusster wahrnehme und so ein Spaziergang für die eigene Gesundheit auch ganz gut tut :) Ohne Nebel steht einem ein wunderschöner Ausblick über Zürich zur Verfügung :)

That is great that you can walk that mountain/hill. I don't know if I have the endurance to walk up like that for 2 hours now days.
When I was young I did walk down the Grand Canyon from the ridge to Indian Garden. I was with my cousin and brother. We were with the YMCA and we had to get back early to cook dinner or we would have gone to the river. It seemed like it took us 1 hour and a half to reach Indian Garden, but it took at least 3 hours to get back. The air was thin and we kept on resting every so many steps. I tell my friends that if they are going to the Grand Canyon to stay on the ridge unless they are strong and can handle an upward hike with thin air. One of the guys that left in the morning and went to the river didn't come back till 12 midnight. Some of us were afraid since it is dark that he might have fallen off the edge. Everyone was happy that he made it back.
