Withdraw Steem from your Swixxo wallet
If you want to know how you can deposit Steem to your Swixxo wallet, you can check out this tutorial that I wrote earlier, explaining in a few simple steps how to move your STEEM from Steemit to Swixxo. Now I would like to explain to you how you can withdraw your Steem from Swixxo to Steemit or to the Rudex exchange.
Before I got to this point that I wanted to withdraw my Steem, I also tried out creating and cancelling an order first. The withdraw process seemed easy, but to be honest, it has taken a few days in total, therefore I want to inform others what can go wrong. I've managed to contact Swixxo support to help me solve the problem after I didn't receive the Steem at first, and eventually they explained there was a technical error specifically linked to the exchange I wanted to move my funds to. I'm talking about Rudex exchange.
Why I tried it with Rudex first
To be honest, I never used the deposit to Steemit option before, and I'm always a bit hesitative trying out these new options when it comes to crypto. I'm afraid I will lose my funds if it goes wrong. And today it looked like this was going to be the case. While the deposit of my Steem took just some minutes in total, today I've waited all day (from morning until evening) before I received my Steem. I'm writing this down so other people that test this won't freak out right away, but remain calm and first try to contact Swixxo (which may take a while depending on timezones). Once they reply on your email, it will most likely be solved. Let's have a look at the steps you need to make to withdraw funds from Swixxo. There are no fees charged for depositing and withdrawals
To withdraw Steem please follow the steps below:
First go to your Steem wallet and click on the red button on the right to open the withdraw request:
As you can see I will show you the steps to withdraw Steem to your Rudex wallet, fill in rudex as your withdraw address, and in the text memo you fill in: dex:yourbtsaddress. The reason I decided to try this first, is simply because I found the information at the Rudex exchange explaining what to fill in here, and for Steemit it was still unclear at that point. But I know now how you can withdraw to your Steemit wallet:
Withdraw address: anouk.nox (in my case, you have to fill in your own account name)
Text memo: your memo key, which can be found in your steemitwallet under permissions, starting with STM
Look in your email, and see Swixxo's email asking you to approve the withdraw request you just made. Once you click on the link to approve, it may take some time before they approve your request, be aware of that. One attempt I received a confirmation stating my request was approved (which is done manually), the other 2 attempts, I didn't get such an email.
As you can see in my history, only the last attempt got accepted, I think the other two were rejected because of the low amount. I tried them as a test, but I understand they will not approve such requests. I do wonder what the minimum amount of Steem is to withdraw. I didn't find this info anywhere, I would advise @swixxo to make this clear in this withdraw section of their site. Just a little note on the minimum amount you need to withdraw to get approved.Just to rule out any doubts, and to avoid these attempts to test the withdraw function with a low amount, like I did.
Normally the funds would now arrive in your wallet soon
In my case, it went wrong. I sent them an email half an hour after the transfer was approved, but I didn't hear back from them until this evening. About 9.5 hours in between, which made me pretty nervous. I thought I had lost my Steem, but after they finally got back to me, they explained to me that they are still in beta phase, and that they try to handle all requests as soon as possible, but my request is now waiting to be processed by their backoffice. It would still take several more hours before they got back to me again. There was some kind of technical error linked to Rudex, after they refunded the 50 Steem back to my wallet, they asked me to try again. It took at least another 30 minutes before my new request got approved, and after that some time to arrive in my Rudex wallet. But in the end, it arrived there, and my worries were for nothing.
The reason I'm sharing this
Is to show you that it may seem that something went terribly wrong, but it doesn't have to be that way. When there's a technical error, and someone needs to find the error to solve the problem, you may face some time zone differences before someone reaches out to you. Don't worry, try to remain calm. I'm sure these things are being worked on, and hopefully sharing these errors will be valuable feedback to them to improve their exchange. One thing that I do want to advice Swixxo here, is to make it clear on the website, that withdrawals may take several hours, so that they won't be overloaded with unnecessary emails that they also have to go through which is a waste of time in the end, if people can look up this info on the website. Although it took too much time before Swixxo support got back to me, I want to thank them for their help, they were very friendly and the one thing that matters is, that they solved the problem correctly.

You're welcome. I wrote a few more tutorials in the past week. But does this mean that the people that signed up with the link in @oracle-d's post are the ones that are beta testing with those fee benefits @swixxo?
