Park Darynvon or, as it is also called, Thumuli, occupies a vast territory. This is the place where there are 23 burials of the great kings and their families. The affiliation of many burials has so far not been identified and therefore they are named after the names of any objects that were found in tombs during excavations.

One of the most famous tombs is the tomb of the "Heavenly Horse" or Chonmachon (천마총). The tomb was named because of the image of the horse found in it. The entrance to the burial ground is open to visitors.

And here is the tomb of King Michu (미추왕). There is a legend about this tomb. Once upon a time, the enemy's successor was attacked by the king's successor, Michu. The battle was unequal and the chances of winning the king's successor were zero. But, suddenly, from nowhere there was an army with bamboo leaves in the ears. She destroyed the enemies and disappeared, leaving the bamboo leaves at the tomb of King Michu. It is said that this spirit of the king sent his army to save the successor.

Unfortunately, some tombs have been looted. But those items that have survived to this day and were found during excavations are kept in the National Museum of Gyeongju City.
