Sycamore Canyon Park and Trail
This is the one that located in Riverside County, please do not confuse with the one near Brea, CA.
It's an easy-moderate trails. The park has many trails that crossed-loop to a total of 4.5 mile wide. It's a beautiful open field hike, no shade. The parking is free and very convenient, right close to the trail entrance.
Besides the 360 degree view of the surrounding where you stand from the top, hikers could also take advantage to exploring the ruin past. I personally believe that this location is an ancient petrified swamp or lake. There are petrified water creatures and the fallen Giants' remains.
Whether searching for the past is your thing or not, the trail should give you a refresh experience from the stressful city life.
