Syria attacks: mixed reactions of world leaders

in syria •  7 years ago

Some said that the attack by American allies was necessary and appropriate. Others believe that this will cause the militants to redistribute in the region in the future.

Last week, about 70 people were killed and more than five hundred people got sick due to a chemical attack in Syria's former Guantan rebel-controlled city.

The United States and Western countries blame the Syrian government and their ally Russia. Although both countries denied the allegations.

In the wake of the warning and counter-warning, US allies fired more than 100 missiles from warships and militants in Syria in the first hour of Saturday.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel supported the attack and said that the attack was "necessary and appropriate" to warn the Syrian regime not to attack chemical weapons again in the future.

"We support the responsibility of our ally America, France and the United Kingdom as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council," he said.

Although this week Merkel announced that his country would not participate in any military operation in Syria.

The United States took part in the attack, but the opposition opposed the Labor Party.

Labor leader Jeremy Kelly thinks that the UK Prime Minister Terizma May should have got the permission of the parliament before participating in the Syrian missile strike.

The leader of the anti-war, said, "The bomb will not be able to save lives or bring peace. The legal validity of this campaign can be questioned and it will increase the risk in the future.

Advocating the direction of the British army to follow the direction of Washington, the United Kingdom should take the lead in front of a ceasefire in Syria by leading from the front. The Prime Minister should have taken the permission of parliament without following US President Donald Trump. "

Turkey believes that the missile attack was 'the right answer'.

A Turkish foreign ministry official said: "We believe the United States, United Kingdom and France are the right answer to the missile attack on the Syrian government."

Although the US allies did not make any comments on the missile attack, European Commission President Jean-Claude Yonkar asked the Syrian government to stop using chemical weapons.

"This is not the first time the Syrian government uses chemical weapons on civilians. But of course it should end. "

The permanent member of the UN Security Council took position against the attack in China.

China calls for negotiations to solve problems by describing the attacks in Syria as a violation of international law.

China's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that China has always been against the use of force against any kind of international.

Iran's top leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, described the missile attack as a 'crime' in Syria, saying it is not possible to achieve anything through this.

He said, "Today's attack is nothing but a crime. I am clearly telling the President of the United States and France and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

There will be no benefit in this attack. For example, in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan, they have not been able to make any such mistake. "

The United States ally Jordan said it is possible to end the ongoing Syrian crisis by political means only.

In a statement issued by the government of the country's state-wide media, it said: "The current conflict will only bring more conflict in the future. The victims of the Syrian people. "

The US allies' missile strike in Syria just seems to give militants more exposure to the region.

A statement from the country's foreign ministry described the attack as 'a very dangerous progress'.

"The consequences of such operations are horrific. This has threatened the security and stability of the region, and the Iraqi and Syrian forces who have narrowed down the militants are being given the opportunity to spread again. "

Iraqi leaders urged to organize a conference to clear up their positions on this attack.
