Are all Arabs Muslims? -part 2-

in syria •  8 years ago

so after one encouraging comment ,i am going to continue .

as a child i was raised on movies like " the goonies " "indiana Jones "and  Star wars ", and after learning the violin and Piano, moved to electric guitar.

i can tell you that there is nothing different between the children here, and your children...until a certain age,6 or seven , when the culture start to dominate their life in all aspects.

lots of No's to be avoided in public, but not when no body can see you,

in syria you had to wear a uniform to go to school, public or private,it's the military uniform for little kids.

but as a child wearing that, i didn't have a feeling that i was a soldier, only on Thursdays when we had a military class , it was only then where i felt that i am a useless soldier.

useless because all the things we've learnt were out dated, we had one ak-7 that looked like an artifact, worn rusty and harmless.

we pupils of the 10th grade had the one and only chance to use and shoot AK-7 a full magazine for every student  ,and nobody from the school officials had a problem with that.
