Independent British journalist Vanessa Beeley interviewed an ordinary citizen from Eastern Ghouta who used to live in an area controlled by the Islamist terror group of Jaish al-Islam (Islam’s Army). The resident whose name is Arafat says that after the liberation of Eastern Ghouta, he feels like a newborn child and that he can live again.
When asked about the role of foreign powers, Arafat assured that “neither Saudi Arabia, America or Qatar will bring us any freedom”
