Bovine beach bums on the Wildcoast of the Transkei, South Africa. Not a rear sighting on the Wildcoast, these indigenous cattle have a fondness for basking on the beaches, mind you they have access to rich grazing in the foothills that border the dunes. This is a region that rivals any local in terms of scenic splendor. A region largely unspoilt by "modern" development although recently threatened by proposed mining and an unnecessary highway, both these developments are fiercely opposed by the majority of local communities.
