My name is Mac Cameron and I used to teach college level 3D printing classes. I thought it would be cool to share the assignments here on Steemit, just in case anyone is interested in learning and taking action on their ideas!

Guidelines
Additive manufacturing has been in the shadows because it is still a relatively new technology. Experts in the field still find themselves explaining what additive manufacturing (3D printing) is even though almost everyone in the world has been affected by it somehow. From prototypes to end-use-parts, we see the applications of 3D printing ranging from toys to rocket engines, medical devices to pancakes.

In this assignment, you will create a blog post about how additive manufacturing has affected you. You can create a video, write up, podcast, song, intricate mathematical proof, poem, or any other medium to share how this technology is already incorporated into the things in your life.

This assignment is meant to allow you to be creative and utilize your strengths and talents to create something that can be shared with the public.
