I know what you guys are going to say.......

Number 1. Where the heck is the blade guard, well when I make 45 degree cuts it does get in the way. I always use a push stick and safety is my upmost priority. OK hand slap........... (:

Number 2. I know many of you out there in woodworking land will say that this isn't a good saw but.....
This is my 2nd Ryobi table saw, same saw, and let @silvertop tell you the story.
My first Ryobi table saw I abused, did I say abused? I used a masonry blade and cut cultured stone for my wood stove hearth, lot's and lot's of stone. I also beveled every stone on the back to make a tight mortar free stone wall. Then I reversed a carbide blade and cut lots of hardi backer siding. I ran that saw till the brushes wore out, and they are not replaceable unless you take the motor apart. Not going to do that......

So did you notice the Crypto sticker???? Someone give me some Steem/Steemit sticker's and I will put them EVERYWHERE!!!
I do fine Woodworking and even when I build my custom doors I can still get the work done with this saw. Do I blindly set the fence no, I measure everything...twice. I can square it by eye and it's good to go no problem.

It's a good little saw. I have my radial arm saw in the garage if I need it, but most of the time I use this to rip.
Now this is the best part, this saw was brand new at the big Orange box store. It sat on display and someone lost the safety start-up on off switch key. They had more coming in later, but they put this new saw up for sale for $54.00 new. I told them the stand was also missing, and they said how about $50.00 even.... SOLD!!!!
I had the stand and the safety key at home!

I know you can buy high quality saws. I grew up in the time when you bought quality and you paid the price and it would last I get that. I have also learned there is a lot to be had by opening our eyes to the use of the mass produced tools.

@silvertop needs his tools...... a lot of them! :)

For now this tool goes back in the garage, tomorrow I get my new Leegol 7 inch wet tile saw delivered that I posted about. I will let you all know the good, the bad and the ugly of the saw, hopefully the Good!! :)

Later @silvertop........

I have nothing but vintage power tools and there is no such thing as a blade guard. The blade guard is my common sense and if I do use a saw that has them I take them off. To me they create more problems...

So very true! The plastic guard on the ryobi isn't very good anyway!
I think the world wants to bubble wrap everyone....
My married son went to Hungary to meet his in laws, and he tells me nothing has a safety, even tall buildings.... no safety railing's......
