Plans

I'm not really writing a lot here today, because I've had some real-life stuff come up and some minor issues with a certain recently released video game (coughBattletechcough), but I want to quick lay out what my plans are for Steemit.

For a start, I'm going to be working on finishing my personality archetypes series. I'm picturing the Lover as my next step, though as with the other remaining archetypes I'm having a problem finding examples. I've got a few in mind, but I need to do a brief re-reading to make sure they're ready. Taking a brief break today will increase the quality going forward.

Second, I'm putting more work into The Ashen King, my setting for Hammercalled's first full-fledged standalone game. Segira is part of that ecology too, so I need to get it done first, but Segira's a simplified version and will go faster.

I'm considering just basically announcing a one-month delay on everything. My day job's been kinda rough recently, though it's going to be easier by the end of May. That also means that Hammercalled will go through two or three more playtest and revision cycles before its first published product, which I don't believe will hurt it in the long run.

I haven't forgotten about velotha's flock, either. If you like free verse poetry or were-ravens, I'm hoping to finish the advanced guide for it this weekend, and by that I mean "I will literally turn off my wi-fi Saturday morning and only turn it back on when I'm dead or it's ready" so you can safely look forward to that.

It'll probably come out Sunday, just because I'll want to double-check my stuff, and we should have a regular Saturday post anyway.

Sort Order:

velotha's flock may see its advanced guide delayed again; we're starting the Hammercalled playtest early today, and it may or may not leave enough time to finish it. I may be able to finish it tomorrow.

I'm stopping doing my personal blog daily, so it should make room for more work on products and other writing.
