Russia is going to launch the world's first floating nuclear power plant The last few days, officially the nuclear power plant has floated in the sea. This center will be able to produce 70 megawatts of electricity. Not only that, it will be possible to meet the electricity demand of a city inhabited by more than one lakh people.
On the other hand, with the help of this nuclear power plant, about two hundred and forty thousand cubic meters of water can be refined. The floating nuclear power plant has been named 'Academic Lemonosov'.
Generally, the power plant has to be installed in a particular place. Then electricity is produced and electricity is sent to different places. But this power station is not the same. It goes by itself where electricity is needed- there.
It is learned that Russia will deploy the floating nuclear power station near the North Pole. There will meet the demand for electricity from Pevek Port in 2019. After a nuclear power plant closes there the electricity supply will start from the floating nuclear power station. Once in the floating power center, every three years will be fueled. There will be 35 crew members.
