“WAH TAJ (Regaining its GLORY via REWORK)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

No wonder why TAJ makes it to the list of 7 wonders of the world.It is a stunning man made creation that leaves you astonished & sweeps you right off your feet as soon as you get a first glimpse of it.The beautiful white marble structure stands out tall & exhibit beauty & grandeur with its each view & almost forces you to say WAH TAJ. Now,being a buyer at Harley Davidson I cant stop myself but look at the business side of things associated with TAJ. Here is the quick maths & ROI of TAJ. The total manufacturing cost of TAJ was 4 crores at that point of time.Today on an average 20,000(Very conservative figure) people visit the monument everyday.Now considering average entry ticket price to be 100 INR(40 INR for Indians & 1000 for foreigners) it makes 6 crores every month & 72 crores every year. Isn't that a staggering figure itself leave aside money made by guides,photographers,tanga pullers,marble sellers,hotels,shoe covers etc.Proves that if done without greed ; love can make a lot of money.(Well,I bet even shahajahan wasn't aware that his creation will turn into such a business opportunity with global appeal).

Now,if you are planning to visit the TAJ then here are few tips & tricks.
1.There is a window to visit TAJ in the night also but you need to plan in advance as the tickets needs to be booked 24/48 hours in advance with limit of 500 each day in batches of 50 costing around 500 INR for Indians.
2.If you are planning to visit during the day.I would highly recommend to visit right in the morning,reach at 6'o clock & spend 2 hours there as after that it gets very hot & spoils the total fun.
3.We hired a photographer by the name of NIRANJAN SINGH RATHORE & he did quite a job as he knew exactly the angles & other details.Any photographer will click pics with your camera for free but will charge for pics clicked by him with his own camera(Basically you need to spend a minimum amount but in my view its worth).
4.Try to use battery operated rickshaws rather than tanga From parking area to taj(INR 10 VS INR 100).

1. Don't finalize guide/photographer right at the parking slot,wait.It will get cheaper as you get close/inside the TAJ.
2. Buy shoe covers from outside as shoes are not allowed inside the main premises & it is not a good idea to roam around naked feet as the floor gets very hot.

Things that we didn't like(Reason for giving 4 start instead of 5)
1.Right side of the TAJ is under renovation & it takes away significant beauty of the monument(Hope it will be finished ASAP)
2.Indians have to pay for using urinals(3 & 5 INR Respectively) while foreigners can pee for free(Well its included in their entry fee,i guess)
3.Parking fee is also very steep at 80 INR
4.There was no water in the fountains for reasons unknown.

All in all if planned well you are bound to have good time.It is worth to visit it once for sure.
