A Letter to 16 year old me!!

Dear Ashley,

You probably turned 16 this year and you have many unanswered questions in your head. Starting with if you are going to pass your high school ? What are you going to choose for college ? Will any college accept you?? Will you find your True love ?? Will you become thin ??

My first advice to you is CHILL , life is going to be tough but you will have the courage to overcome many obstacles that come your way. I know you must be scared thinking about your future , but believe me ,Overthinking things will just take your time and mood . It's not worth it. You need to enjoy every second of your high school. Don't be afraid of your classmates , they are making fun of you because you seem like a scardy cat 😣 yes I have to tell you , stand up to others , don't ever think you can't do it or you don't have the brains for it. Believe me , you CAN do anything you put your mind to , You have the BRAINS too .

There will come many situations where you will feel you are alone , you will feel " why don't I have a boyfriend ? " Or even " When will my first kiss be?? " Haha , Trust me , you don't want any if those things right now , right now what you need is to LOVE your family . Yes , there must be a lot of misunderstanding happening with you and your parents. Know it is the generation gap and try your best to be a good , understanding daughter. And try to spend as much as time with your sister , you don't know this but your sister misses you so bad. Your always away from home , either at school or at tuitions and it's killing her to be always alone at home. But when she sees you , you both end up having arguments. It's really because she loves you Soo much. Give her the LOVE and ATTENTION that she deserves .

Many a times you will think that your friends are your world but it's not true , your friends are going to betray you . Don't trust them . Just keep a distance . Don't tell everything to everyone. You are too naive . You need to learn to shut your mouth sometimes. You must learn to keep secrets. You are such a blabbermouth . Well I guess you know that 🤷 .

There will only be one thing that is going to be constantly in your life. And that is not going to be money or even your friends , it's going to be your family ,so cherish them. Then don't worry about the exams , you will pass. Even get into an okay college. Well , your love life won't start anytime soon. But don't lose hope that's because you chose to wait. I would say just wait , don't make any harsh decisions. And DONT TRUST anyone much.

Girl , you got a beautiful , adventurous life ahead of you , don't let all negative thoughts to get the best of you . Be strong , be you , don't ever change for anyone. I Love you Ashley , I know you hate yourself at 16 but things will change. You will learn some hard truths. Moreover LOVE GOD , your life is going to be like a wild rollercoaster but believe me you will survive.And don't cut your beautiful long hair , if you do once then you won't be able to stop. You will do alot of experiments with it , which won't lead to any good . So try not to do a lot of different things with your hair .And alwyas know that you are beautiful inside and out , you are talented too. Don't let anyone else say otherwise. Yeah that's it!! I have warned you .
