This is a daily spread I thought of and use to determine what is something positive (easy) and negative (more difficult) to keep in mind and work on throughout my day. I'd like to share with you the results in the hopes you benefit from this too.
This reading uses the New Age Tarot by Walter Wegmuller.
Today's spread reveals the Eight of Swords and the Two of Wands.
The first card represents a positive (easy) thing to focus on. The Eight of Swords warns you to take a look at the environment around yourself. This will show you that you are not trapped by the circumstances you're facing. You can inhibit yourself by overthinking or submitting your power to the authorities.
This second card represents a negative (difficult) thing to focus on. The Two of Wands tells you to think about your future actions or paths. You may also be feeling sadness associated with moving to new territory in your life.
Today's reading is telling you is to take command of yourself and your life. You control your power and your abilities. You are not a slave to the circumstances you're surrounded with. Careful planing of your future will help you feel less trapped in your past or present.
