The construction, development, and planning of an idea is fraught with errors,failures, and, for some, the consequent disappointment and self-doubt. Once disappointment and doubt become self-abnegation then the mind rules and deprives the soul of oxygen.
In such instances you lose your moral compass. You wage war on yourself and cripple your plans. To the detriment of yourself, life, loved ones, friends and community.
On the other hand, when plans go awry and you are filled with adventure, discovery, trial and error just as the Wright brothers did you may just learn to fly.
