Happy Solstice!
I am in the Northern Hemisphere, so today is the first official day of summer:D
We have had a heatwave for a few of the late-spring weeks, but so far the weather has been beautiful this week.
In honor of the Solstice, for my reading today I chose a root card... The Sun.
Usually I draw the root cards, but this one is on purpose.
The cards that we got are pretty straightforward.
The 3 of Cups and the 3 of Wands.
To take advantage of the Solstice energy, hang out with friends and continue to grow long term connections and commitments.
For my part, I continued my MTG battle with @kommienezuspadt.
My Jhoira deck 1-20 vs. his Vial Smasher the Fierce deck, but I can still count on my buddy Nicol Bolas to save me from losing all the time.
Jhoira is such an underachiever...
I think the rest of my night will consist of packing for my move at the end of the month and burning things that need to be burned. It's a good night for a fire!

Sometimes you just have burn stuff...
My 'cauldron' is an empty tobacco can.
I did it in my backyard after the muggles went to sleep:)
I only had paper to burn, so it was no problem.
If I had a real fire pit I could have burned more, but I still got rid of what I needed to... reminders of toxic relationships and that sort of thing.
