~ Beetle on Mercury ~

My first try at a new design. I was drawing from the Hermit and Moon tarot cards. I used the Hermit's association to Virgo, who in turn is linked to Earth and Mercury. I tried to combine this with the Scarab Beetle depicted on my tarot deck's Moon card by using Mercury's symbol as the basis for the beetle. ⠀

Overall, I took some positives and enjoyed the challenge, but wasn't happy with the end result.
