Card 1

Knight of Wands & Magician

Your wheels are turning, you are looking to make some quick changes in your life. This may include moving your residence or perhaps taking a journey somewhere. Whichever it is it usually involves quick decisions as that is what you are feeling right now. You may be overwhelmed by all the outside chatter from others around you. Maybe, being pulled in too many directions and you are ready to run.

When the knight of wands shows up it means that your adventurous side is emerging once again. You could be getting excited about your next move or idea that is stirring within you. This is the beginning of a very powerful shift, both spiritually and energetically for you. You are entering a period of aligning your higher-self with your physical self in a greater way.

At times, this alignment of self can bring some chaos and confusion. You may even struggle with which direction to go in or what you really want to do next. This is quite common coming into a new year and especially entering a new decade. Many of the things you have relied on in the past will not suit you where you are headed going forward. You may have already begun purging things, people or ideas (beliefs) from your life. This is what you need to be doing. Everything is moving into perfect order to bring your life back into balance.

It is time for you to seek your inner guidance, to see the magic that you hold within you. You indeed are the magician that creates your life and you hold the feminine and masculine energy within you. Balance is the key right now for you. You have been out of balance for too long now and spirit is urging you to take time for yourself and release, heal and renew your personal strength. Ask yourself during this process of reflection what it is that your life has been mirroring back to you. Where have there been imbalances, conflicts, pain or suffering? That can be both mental, emotional and physical as well, so listen to your body and feel your way to the answers you seek.

Opossom & Blue Heron Spirit Animal

Opossum

The Opossum is a very clever creature that has a unique form of protection for itself.... playing dead. Whenever it feels threatened it literally lays down and plays dead. It has a built-in mechanism that even emits the scent of a dead animal. How amazing is that?

Now, since this has shown up in your reading, why are you playing dead? What energy are you putting out towards others to keep them at bay? What are you protecting yourself from? Blue Heron

Blue Heron flies into your reading today to assist you on your journey of self-realization. The power of Heron medicine is to know thyself by discovering your gifts and facing your challenges head-on. It asks you to accept all your feelings and opinions without denying any emotions or thoughts. Heron asks you to step into the deep waters of your emotions and feelings to seek your truth.

Queen of Wands Reversed
Indecision Reversed

The Minor Arcana card came out for you today. The Queen in the reverse can represent a time of intense conflict with others that could be coming to head. Often the Queen of Wands is energetic, busy helping others above her own needs, multi-tasking is an understatement in her life. The days are filled with doing so much that eventually, the tasks become burdensome.

Your struggle for personal growth and self-development becomes impeded by your attentiveness to everyone else over yourself. You may be experiencing feelings of depression, anger, resentment and even moments of hysterical outbursts. Are you? Do you recognize where you are, at the end of the rope that you have hung yourself with? OH MY, for the sake of your own sanity, cut the rope, please. Let go of the burdens that you have allowed others to put upon you as if they were yours to carry and take time to heal yourself.

If you are here at this point, you may be experiencing serious burnout and in need of some serious cave time to yourself. If you do not take some time for yourself you are taking a risk for some serious conflicts to arise and confrontations to escalate beyond the point of return.

Indecision Reversed

Now, the positive side of the cards today is showing you that newfound freedom from indecision is at hand for you. Either, you recently made or are about to make a major, very important decision, this will bring you into a place of great clarity of consciousness and expansion in your life.

Any fragmented and confused energies that have been overwhelming you, burdening you to the point of exhaustion, are about to end. The energy is dissipating from the Queen of Wands in reverse as we speak. Yay, that is great news for you.

It is time for you to blossom once again, to rise from the ashes like the Phoenix and to figure out how to move forward with your life. Any movement, even if a little at a time, is going to raise your vibration and energy. As you continue to lift yourself out by doing some personal introspection, you will aid your heart in opening up to your higher awareness and purpose. It is time to keep your faith in yourself and spirit so that you will once again be able to have faith in others too.

Wolf & Lynx Spirit Animal

Five of Cups & Angel of Strength

Are you feeling disappointed, down in the dumps or perhaps betrayed for some reason? This card can sometimes mean one is going through a desperate time. Maybe you have lost a job or a relationship has broken or you may have even experienced the loss of a loved one or pet. I feel this is different for many and each will resonate with the feelings they are experiencing.

Due to the emotional trauma that surrounds you, you are not able to see the picture in front of you as it has been clouded by your grief. At this stage of the situation, you are in it is very difficult to understand fully the reasons behind your circumstances. In this card, three cups have spilled but 2 remain standing behind the knight. This can indicate that there are still many positive factors at work that you have been unable to see thus far. This is due to the fact that you are spending so much time focusing on that which you have lost.

It is time for you to call upon your Angels for strength to rise above your despair. It is time for you to open to a higher perspective of your personal circumstances. Take time to reflect and look within for a much deeper understanding of what is taking place. This applies to your life and to the lives of other people as well. It is time for you to seek the smaller details associated with each circumstance and person involved.

I feel for you. This is another tough card to share and I hope it influences you in the right direction. Frog in the reverse suggests that you are seriously stuck in the mud and are at a point of unwillingness to get yourself up out of the mire in your life. This is a warning that mud can quickly turn to bog and then into quicksand if you do not choose to see how your despair is affecting your life's situation.

What or who is draining you of all your energy? Is something physical, mental or emotional? Perhaps it is a culmination of all three that has brought you to this point. Maybe, just maybe you have been in a serious quarrel with someone. Has that quarrel murked up your lily pond? Are you allowing the emotions of the situation you find yourself in to continue to sink you lower into the mire? It Is Time To Stop! Are you going to stay in that murky pond forever? Or, are you going to sit up and hop yourself on over to the nearest little pad that is blooming with a new Lotus flower for you to partake of? It is all up to you!

At times, all of life's activities can become overwhelming and often relationships very trying. Now, is the time for you to take a much-needed break from the negativity that has brought you down. Take some much needed time for yourself and gain a fresh perspective on all your current situations. It is always better to hop to another lily pad and enjoy the sun that is shining there. Take the time to bask in it!

Beaver

The beaver has shown up in your spread today to show you the power of working and the importance of a sense of achievement. Beavers are master craftsmen and also masters at giving themselves many escape routes. They build their homes to sustain great influxes in nature and thus are great examples for us to emulate in our lives.

When one has dreams, building a solid foundation is key. Also, teamwork is always a necessary component. To accomplish your goals often involves working well with others. This means connecting with the group mind, this may be uncomfortable, but often a necessary part in achieving your goals. The group minds constitute harmony if anything is to be accomplished. That means that each person's ego has to be left at the door in order for any type of project to succeed.

If you are working with others on a project and they have disappointed you somehow, have you honored their talents and abilities? Each person holds a piece of the puzzle that will bring the project to completion. If you are able to work well with others, a sense of community is achieved and unity will follow.
