Happy #tarottuesday, steemians!

ttues.JPG

I'm using the Mythic tarot again this week. It's the first deck that was ever given to me, and I really love it.

As usual I've drawn three cards for you this week and I invite you to pick 1, 2, or all 3 cards, in any order you like. Whatever feels right for you.

So choose your card(s)!

The symbols and archetypes in the cards provide us with ideas to focus upon, or new ways of looking at things which you hadn't previously thought of. So, whatever comes up, remember to use your own judgement and intuition in any decision making.

Let's see what came up this week...

Queen of Cups

As court cards, Queens can be considered numberless. They represent the ultimate feminine energy in a suit.

And cups are all about emotion and matters of the heart. The Queen of Cups is motherly, nurturing, highly intuitive. But she can also be ruthless and manipulative, or too guided by emotion rather than careful analysis. She may be drawing your attention to this dichotomy in yourself, or in another very strong female character in your life. Or she may represent your need for an emotional ‘safe space’. Feel for what is right, but don’t get so wrapped up in emotion that you lose your way.

Temperance

Temperance has number fourteen. 1 + 4 = 5, but it’s a level up from the standalone five, and also carrying also the energies of one and four. That makes this a complex energy. If ones are a spontaneous, creative spark, and fours are contrarian in nature, it’s no wonder that fives present challenges. Take that up an order of magnitude, and you’ll have an idea what fourteen is all about.

But this card points out to us that opposites can be reconciled. That’s your challenge. Temper your reaction to that which appears irreconcilable, and things will become much, much easier. For opposites can react to form new things, depending on your approach. Hydrogen, a gas which burns fiercely, and oxygen, a gas which causes other things to burn fiercely, react to form pure water which cools to liquid and can temper hot steel. And so it is with the “irreconcilable” things you now face. Reconcile them and you will have the glee of the alchemist who just got water out of fire.

Ace of Pentacles

In tarot, the aces represent the start of new journeys in each of the four suits. They are doorways from the major arcana into the minor arcana. The tool chosen by the Fool from the magician's table, will now be put to work.

In this case it is the Pentacle. Take it, pop it in your wallet, ground yourself, and get on with that project you started but never finished. Work at it, and let it become. This will provide you with satisfaction, and perhaps resources will follow. But first focus on getting grounded. If you’ve been procrastinating, or emotionally unable to face the task, or distracted by trivial things, this is the call to stand solid on the ground with a renewed drive to build and finish that which you started, no matter how difficult that is at first. You can’t bank on motivation to get you to finish this, but finishing it will surely give you more motivation for the next task.

3 for me today, and it wicked resonated - thanks!

Glad it did!

Ooof, I need a cup of tea after all that :p

LOL! Yep, I remember the first time I decided to do a Tarot Tuesday post on my WP blog. I figured it would be a quick, snap a few pics & write a few paragraphs kind of deal. Yeah, not so much... 😂

This is a great reading. I love the clear way you've explained everything. The ace of pentacles was the one that came to me, and it seems to resonate with putting in that time and consistency towards projects like steemit! It's clearly a coin, but I sometimes also think of it as a seed, and all the related metaphors that come with that. This is a really well laid out reading 😋 nice!

I'm glad it resonated with you!

Following you now :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Love it! The Ace of Coins is energy I need for the week, I think. Thanks!

Glad there was something in there for you!

wow! I've got a ton a female energy flowing right now - chose the Queen of Cups and the empress on @traciyork's spread ! I feel like I am embodying that motherly feelings lately !

I totally see this as you right now! 😊
