This screenshot motivational poster is dedicated to all of my friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren who highly believe that the Waziri warriors need a whole lot more love. So, sit back, relax, and soak in how great these best friends are especially towards Tarzan and Basuli and even towards Maugli, George of The Jungle, Kaj, Simba, Mufasa, Chief Keewazi, Usula, and Kobe.
I know I have mentioned this plenty of times in previous works, but these are the wonderful Waziri warriors I have been going on and on about. I christened them different names based on the original Edgar Rice Burroughs' books. From left to right, we have Waranji the one with the gold earrings, fang necklace, and headband, Wasimbu the one with the brown hair and bulkier, taller frame, Chowambi the one with the more square face, stockier frame, and green necklace, Mawunga the one in the salmon red colored loincloth, Kuwanga the one with the chiseled face and yellow ochre loincloth, and Nomonga the one with the lime green necklace and the golden armband.
These six warriors, at least in my headcanon, are brothers with Kuwanga as the eldest and Chowambi as the youngest and they are Simba's, Kaj's, George's, Basuli's, Tarzan's, and Maugli's best friends ever since they were children. Nowadays, even as adults and having children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of their own, they are still the best of friends, and they will not let anybody break them apart.
To give each of them some distinction in their personalities, here they are one by one in the order that they appear in from left to right.
Waranji is the high-strung Waziri warrior messenger who is also the fastest man of this tribe. His lightning feet could make even Hermes go green with envy because of the many times he would try to outrun any leopard and would surprisingly succeed. Being fast may have its advantages when it comes to winning marathon and triathlon races, but he can also be prone to being panicky, as he has always been the brunt of Tarzan's sneak attacks with Kaj, George, Basuli, and Maugli following suit to attack him in a playful way. In spite of his moments of panic, Waranji would use them to fight with instinct sometimes using his fists, grappling skills, feet, and suplexes to get the job done. As a messenger, he not only cares about giving news to his tribe, but also being one of Basuli's and Tarzan's closest confidants ever as well as being their favorite racing buddy.
Wasimbu is the courageously athletic Waziri warrior who combines speed and strength to make him a very powerful warrior of a man. He is the complete package of muscles and speed to the point where he is branded as invincible. He does love sparring with his brothers, but his favorite sparring partners are Basuli and Tarzan, given the many times they always like to outmuscle each other. Inside Wasimbu's tough exterior is a man who genuinely cares for his brothers and his best friends thanks to his loving soul.
Chowambi is very proud of his muscular frame and he loves weightlifting. He may be shorter than the rest of the Waziri warriors, but his super strength, determination, and raw power make him a force to be reckoned with. This short strongman shows no signs of stopping, given the many weightlifting and bodybuilding matches he has with George of the Jungle, Basuli, Tarzan, and Maugli, and he always loves a challenge. He hates being called stocky and short, and would, therefore, use his mighty strength to pummel anyone who belittles him about his size.
Mawunga expresses a lot of pride being a formidable combatant and he will do everything he can to protect the ones he loves the most. He is also very insightful when it comes to knowing the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents and has a great sense of perception of the world around him. He is also a constant sparrer, as he always does his best to outmuscle his brothers and his best friends in every wrestling and grappling match. Out of all his friends, he considers Tarzan as his greatest equal and gives him a whole lot of respect, thus ensuring that he does not get hurt by anyone.
Kuwanga is a stoic man of few words. Nonetheless, he cuts an imposing, dashing, chiseled Etruscan profile, which makes him formidable and he can strike intimidation against his enemies because of how battle-hardened he is. His strength, powerful build, and amazing muscles can knock the stuffing out of his rivals. He even loves to have bodybuilding posedowns and put his magnificent muscles on display for everyone to see. Moreover, he enjoys comparing the size of his biceps to his friends' and brothers' biceps, thus making them have playful flex-offs as an activity they love doing the most. When it comes to his most favorite flexing buddies, his favorite ones are George of the Jungle, Basuli, Chowambi, Tarzan, and Maugli.
Nomonga is considered by many to be the absolute fiercest warriors ever. His strikingly imposing presence, willfulness, and boundless valor, stamina, and determination make him an indubitably powerful combatant. What makes him stand out is the focus he has when being in the heat of battle against his opponents, thus making him comprehend their strengths and weaknesses. Wrestling matches are his specialty, and he would go out of his way and say that Simba, Kaj, George of the Jungle, Basuli, Tarzan, and Maugli are the greatest wrestlers he has ever come to know and he fully acknowledges how wonderfully powerful they are.
There you have it. The six Waziri warriors who have a deep, meaningful, and great friendship with Simba, Kaj, George of the Jungle, Basuli, Tarzan, and Maugli and can kick anyone's butt at the slightest provocation, given how mighty these muscle men really are. Moreover, these guys definitely deserve far more love and more fan art dedicated to them because of how underrated they really are.
In conclusion, I have this to say. Please give these Waziri warriors a whole lot more fan art love because they certainly need a whole lot more appreciation than they already do.
I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care and stay safe, everybody.
Waranji, Wasimbu, Chowambi, Mawunga, Kuwanga, and Nomonga from The Legend of Tarzan belong to Edgar Rice Burroughs and Disney.
