Most of us eat something every day.

Some eat food cooked by other people, be it family members, chef at the restaurant or operators of industrial-scale boiling, baking, frying machines. It is fast and convenient.

Others cook themselves, choosing carefully every ingredient, adding it to taste, smell and sight.
Your food is exactly as you want it to be and if it is bad, there no one to blame but yourself and, probably, the farmer.

I tend to be the latter type, even though my cooking is very simple.

Most of my ingredients I buy at a store, except for linseeds and peanuts.

I buy them at the market and there is a man who supplies them to me for the last several years at the cost of $1.5-2 per kg.
For the reason that he is such a good guy, I would like to make a little advertisement for him. If you ever happen to be at the city of Tashkent, which is capital of Uzbekistan in Central Asia, cook yourself and looking for the way to enhance your dinner, here are coordinates of this seller at the local agricultural Kuyluk Bazaar.

Name: Ikrom.
Surname: Abdujabborov.
Runs family business, his sons help him with it.
He is tall, around 1 m 90 cm, cheerful, energetic and has a loud voice, which is a good character for a trader.
Speaks Uzbek and Russian ( just don’t use overcomplicated expressions, speak usual street speech ).
Trades grains, spices and confectionery.
Also knows a lot of people on the market, so if you need something not on his stand, he will find and bring it to you, point a direction to or, if there no such thing on the market today, he will order it, and can even take that order to the specific address after work. Just be sure to have a photo and a name of a thing you want in Uzbek if you are looking for something special.

Sometimes people take his goods on credit and he just makes note of it in his book. Rarely seen level of confidence.

As most of such traders, doesn’t accept payment cards though, cash in local currency only.

Here is his phone number, mostly at Telegram +998 90 929 49 30

Even if you are very self-sufficient and grow yourself everything you eat and wear, still there are things you need supply of, and usually plenty of people offering them. Choosing the right seller or manufacturer for you isn’t an easy task. And we, as customers, should help each other with it.

Know your suppliers, and share your knowledge of them!

The same in Russian.
