My Choices

I order Bakso Isi Daging using yellow noodles. I also ordered Tetelan as a complement, because this is my favorite part when eating meatballs.

The Taste Of Bakso Isi Daging

For most meatball connoisseurs in Jakarta, Bakso Solo Samrat is a weekly choice of their favorite restaurant.

For me, Bakso Solo Samratis not my weekly choice. Honestly, as a meatball connoisseur, I am very disappointed with the taste of the broth. As I said before, meatball sauce (broth) has an important role to play in giving the whole taste of the dish.

In my opinion, the beef broth feels strange with excessive sweetness and salty like too much MSG (Monosodium glutamate) It feels like inserting a foreign object in my throat.

Luckily, I can enjoy the meatballs and tetelan. Overall, I can't afford to finish this meatball.

Look at my face. A very dissatisfied face with a pricey dinner and I feel guilty for choosing a restaurant that is not my weekly choice type.

But this is only my opinion. Of course it's different from others, although I also managed to find customer opinions on Zomato, who said the same thing as my opinion.

Jeruk Kelapa (Oranges (With Young Coconut)

Continuing to the drink, I chose my favorite drink, which is young coconut served with freshness of orange. Again and again, I have to be disappointed because the combination of orange and coconut juice feels an unbalanced composition. Very sad.

Yes, I am very sad because I have to spend 70k just for this food.

Conclusion

Bakso Solo Samrat can be a weekly choice for those of you who want to taste the famous Indonesian meatballs in Jakarta.

Note: My disappointment with the taste may only be at the outlet in the Cipete area that was just opened. The others outlet may have a taste that does not disappoint. I hope that this Bakso Solo Samrat at outlet on Cipete can bring their better taste to the future.
