Starting from a cup of warmed coffee to your feelings, or a glass of fresh juice that replenishes the freshness of your day. Then, you can enjoy a plate of delicious food that is beautifully presented before you.

You can choose Gordi HQ as a destination for you to relax with friends, family, or even when you want to be alone.

Gordi HQ is a cafe that has a coffee shop concept with good nuances and offerings that can be your choice.

Gordi HQ which is located in a well-known area in the Jakarta area has a quiet area so visitors don't have to worry about being disturbed by the noise of the capital.

About Gordi HQ

Gordi HQ originated from the online coffee sales business, which later became a cafe business with a coffee shop concept that offered the theme of picnics.

Picnicking in busy urban centers is a business that is popular and is being liked by many people around. Gordi HQ has an outdoor area like a beautiful park and is used as a spot for customers to sit like they are in a place of magic. Not only that, there are also packages of picnic equipment along with food in basketball picnics.

Therefore the presence of Gordi HQ quickly became popular and was visited by many coffee connoisseurs.

The Design

When stepping into Gordi HQ, visitors will see a writing on the wall about a little information about Gordi HQ.

Gordi HQ has a minimalist design that looks clean and luxurious because of the use of glass as a wall.

Luxury does not mean that you cannot unite the concept of nature. Gordi HQ incorporates natural elements such as the use of wood on chairs and tables, and the addition of green plants in several spots.

Although it only consists of one floor, but the interior of Gordi HQ looks wide. As for the second floor, the cafe is used for the office.

On the floor and roof the room still shows an unfinished style so that it gives a warm effect to the room.

There is also one corner that can contain 4 people.

Outdoor Area

Then, what about outdoor area which is an important point in Gordi HQ? Come on let's see!

When I visited Gordi HQ, it was going to rain that day, so there were no picnic mats. The flowers look blooming, how lucky I am.

This place is also suitable for inviting your partner, because Gordi HQ is romantic with natural nuances. Light bulbs arranged in the garden will enhance the atmosphere at night.

On the other side, in the outdoor area there are also chairs and tables. I sat in this area while enjoying my very late lunch, then after finishing my meal I moved to the indoor area.

Even though Gordi HQ is in South Jakarta, it's a fairly busy city, but you don't need to worry about the freshness and tranquility of this place. The outdoor area of Gordi HQ has fresh air and is perfect for relaxing while resting office hours, or even after work.

Toilet

The toilet is located in an outdoor area. The arrangement of the toilet looks good with a lot of increase in greenery.

Green space in the toilet area allows visitors to remain comfortable while waiting in line.

Menu

Gordi HQ provides Western menus ranging from Pastries & Cakes, Small Bites, Smoothies Bowl Brunch, maincourse, salads, to Picnic Basket. And the most highlighted are the coffee menus.

You don't need to worry about the health aspects of the menus. The overall menu offered by Gordi HQ is healthy menus that have a lot of vegetables and natural ingredients without preservatives and without excessive sugar.

All Day Brunch

• Avocado Toast
  Multigrain toast with guacamole, salt boiled egg, and mixed greens.

  Multigrain loaf toast with two type of cheese smeared with home-made bechamel sauce.
• Summer Pancake
  Moist homemade pancake with seasonal fruit, drizzled with sugar crumbs and vanilla mascarpone

  Crunchy-soft rosti, corn salsa, salt boiled egg, and mix greens.

  Briache toast, two scrambled eggs, beef bacon, chlorophyll dressing and mixed greens

Main Course

• Velvet Rice
  Warm rice, velvet creamy sauce, grilled chicken thigh, mesclun greens with chlorophyll oil dressing.
• Mexican Baked Rice
  Warm rice with chilli con carne, pan-seared herb marinated chicken thigh, melted cheese, and salsa.
• Home Gyudon
  Warm rice, thin slices marinated beef, beef soy broth with pickle
• Beef Matah
  Warm rice, stir fry thin slices marinated, homemade “sambal matah” on top
• Roasted Chicken
  Golden brown roasted chicken, buttery mashed potato and mix greens.
• Beef Chimichurri with garlic rice
  Warm garlic rice and roasted with chimichurri sauce.
• Gordi’s Big Burger

Note, visitors can change rice to brown rice but with different price.

SALAD

• Herb Chicken Salad
  Mix of greens mesclun, mint, grilled corn, one egg, pan-seared herbs marinated chicken thigh drizzled with lemon yoghurt vinaigrette
• Beef Salad
  Mix of greens with honey dressing, cashew nuts, and roasted beef with chimichurri sauce

My Experiences

I got a lot of impression when I visited Gordi HQ. This place offers fresh nuances as well as calm when I'm in the outdoor area.

When I was in the indoor area, I had a warm, luxurious atmosphere even though this place is not a restaurant that has large space. I like the minimalist design of this place.

Then, what about the food? Let's talk about the dishes from Gordi HQ starting from the main course to the coffee!

Velvet Rice

The appearance of Velvet Rice is quite convincing for vegetable lovers. I'm sure Velvet Rice will be quite frightening for vegetable haters, but it's pretty good for vegetable lovers like me.

Mesclun Green is at the top of this dish with a fresh texture and taste with a blend of chlorophyll oil dressing.

The chicken that is used is the chicken thigh, producing a soft and juicy taste.

The rice is creamy with velvet sauce. I honestly tried for the first time a blend of rice served with velvet creamy sauce.

Of course it feels a little strange to me, because usually I prefer foods that have strong herbs and spices.

Overall, Velvet Rice served with Mesclun Green with chlorophyll oil dressing is not too bad. But I am not quite satisfied, because on my tongue it feels tasteless, even though it can't be said to be unpleasant.

With a pricey price, Velvet Rice does not work to be a menu that I have to eat again when visiting this place. If I return to this place, I will choose another menu.

Sweet Sunset

Gordi HQ serves natural Cold Press Juice without added water and sugar. So, the fruits are left to cool first then squeezed to take the water. Of course the price is expensive because it contains natural juice.

Look at this Sweet Sunset. Although it's too simple in presentation, it doesn't feel bad. Refreshing on a hot afternoon in Jakarta even though this drink is without added ice.

The combination of watermelon, pineapple, apple, and lemon not only produces a refreshing taste, but also a beautiful color. This drink has become my favorite, besides coffee in this place, of course.

Cafe Latte

I never thought I could spend time from afternoon to night. After eating I decided to open my laptop and continue to finish my writings.

Then, I ordered my favorite mood-generating drink. I chose Cafe Latte to accompany my chilling time.

I have nothing to comment on from the coffee presented by Gordi HQ. It's not bad to enjoy good coffee in a nice atmosphere, even though it's slightly more expensive than in other places.

Conclusion

You can get beautiful, refreshing and romantic all in Gordi HQ. Gordi HQ can be a picnic place in a cafe if it's a sunny day, with food packages and picnic equipment that perfect your relaxing plan.
