Sungai Wang Cafe located near Taman Penampang, is about 10 minutes drive from Donggongon Town and 30 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu City.
I first get to know about this place from a Steemian friend of mine when we had lunch there about a year ago. Since then, I've visited this restaurant many times.
What I lov about this restaurant? The food is delicious, cheap and the owner is a very friendly person. In Sabah, particularly in big towns, the cost of good foods are between 9 to 12 Ringgit. But this restaurant offers food around 5 to 7 Ringgit, which is absolutely cheap. I was really surprised when I first saw the prices.
I went to the restaurant again last week with my family. As usual, we always ordered our personal favorites.
Each of the foods costed us RM7.00 or USD1.72, and each of the drinks about RM2.50 or USD0.61. Its totally cheap and so delicious.
The seating area is a bit hot and humid during the day, so they used a wall fan to cool the area a bit.
I highly recommend you guys to visit this restaurant when you are around this area. The staffs are friendly, the price of the foods are cheap, and really delicious.
