My Weekly Choice : Some Lunch at the Seaside

It is the hottest day in Ireland today so we decided to pay a visit to our closest beach in a place called Tramore in County Waterford Ireland. Tramore has always been a top beach destination for Ireland with people flocking there on their holidays to swim in the sea. It is a prime surfer location with as the big waves attract some of the best surfers in Ireland. Over the past few years Tramore is being rejuvanated with the bars and restaurants offering top qulaity food. Once of these restaurants we visited today. It is called Brooklyn.
There are two sections of Brooklyn that are divided into honeycomb beach huts. One is a cafe and the other is a pizzeria. We went to the pizzeria. We had our little toddler with us and she wanted chips so we said we would venture in because my wife had heard good things about it. It opened at 12.30. Perfect.

Inside is really quirky with unbelievable views from their many windows The specials were also present on the two wide screens at the end of the restaurant. We didn't even ask for the menus as we knew we wanted a pizza and the perfect pizza came up on the screen.

I am a bit of a restaurant snob. I have one little tell that I always check for in a restaurant. It may be really bad of me to do it but a good restaurant always has real flowers instead of fake ones on the table. They go above and beyond in presentation so you can tell the food is going to be good also. I was happy today

The problem with Tasteem reviews is that when the food comes down I do not automatically go for the camera. I take pictures before food comes down because I am waiting. When the food comes I am eager to eat it. Therefore I missed the opportunity for a photo of the full pizza that we ordered to share. D'oh.
So it was the pizza bella which was a honey based covered pizza with goats cheese are a filling on the crust. That was new to me. On top was parma ham, rocket and a special addition. Blueberry. I never seen this before.
Here is a half eaten pizza. Not as photogenic as a full pizza. Notice the blueberries. Believe it or not but they complemented the pizza quite well. It worked.

My toddler had chips and orange juice. She liked it too. The chips were really well made. You could tell they were handcut potatos . No frozen chips in this place.

Overall we really enoyed our lunch and we will go back to Brooklyn again in a heartbeat. It was a top qulaity place with lots of colour and scenery of the best parts of Tramore.
