Last Friday I was just walking in Budapest looking for a place to dine. Not long ago, I visited Good Burger near Kalvin square, and this time I decided to visited a restaurant next to Good Burger named Perfetto. At first I didn't feel like going as the prices were quite high (not very high though), but in the end we still ended up eating in Perfetto.
We ordered a Calzone with ham, mushroom, tomatoes, and cheese, and also a lasagne. The Lasagne is often crucial in such restaurants as they often taste like crap and are just packed with tomato sauce. Well, in Perfetto, the lasagne was mostly perfect. It wasn't to packed with tomatoes, but it was just a mixed balance of all the tastes one would expect from such a meal.
The calzone was really crusty on the outisde, with a very delicious stuffing on the inside. This was one of the best calzones I have eaten, and being a pizza lover, that is a big compliment.
The prices for the lasagne, the calzone, and two drinks were around 8000 HUF (including the automatically added 12% service fee). In other words, not the cheapest in Budapest, but considering how it was a really delicious meal, I would love to return to the restaurant again sometimes later to see what the rest of their Italians meals will taste like.
They also have a dessert named Nutella pizza... well, I didn't taste it this time, but maybe next time!
